Asteelflash France Streamlines Its Operations

Saint-Cloud- June 12, 2025-ASTEELFLASH France is currently facing a challenging period due to economic difficulties in its markets. After experiencing a significant slowdown in activity throughout 2024, the business level has stabilized at a low point, with no clear signs of improvement, as clients are also dealing with sluggish markets.

Despite efforts to attract new customers and the implementation of a cost-saving plan, there has been no noticeable improvement, and the results for early 2025 show losses. The outlook for 2026 doesn’t seem any more promising at this point, with low growth projections and increasing uncertainties. As a result, the company is considering reorganizing its operations, which could lead to the closure of the Cleurie site.

This decision is essential for maintaining competitiveness and ensuring the long-term viability of operations in France by consolidating production at the Duttlenheim and Soissons sites. These locations have expertise comparable to that of Cleurie and can provide the affected customers with a similar level of service and quality.

This project would also help Asteelflash France streamline its operations, increase its flexibility, and enhance risk management. A dialogue will be initiated with employee representatives to develop a support plan aimed at helping staff with their reassignment. The company also commits to working with local elected officials and stakeholders on the future of the site.
